Our Kelowna therapists work with a wide range of what people are carrying. You don’t need to have the “right” label for it to be worth a conversation.
For racing thoughts, avoidance, and a body stuck on high alert.
For past experiences still shaping your present.
For loss, at whatever pace you’re moving through it.
For the heaviness, flatness, or loss of motivation that won’t lift.
For relationships that need a steadier way of communicating.
For teens (13+) navigating stress, identity, or family dynamics.
For focus, follow-through, and the self-doubt that often comes with it.
For anyone in BC who’d rather start from home.
Not sure which one fits? That’s what the free consultation is for. You don’t need to self-diagnose before reaching out.
About Thrive Clinical Counselling in Kelowna
In-Person at Our Kelowna Office
If you’d rather be in the room, our Dickson Ave office is set up to feel calm and unrushed, not clinical. Good fit if you find it easier to open up face-to-face, or if you just want a dedicated space away from home for the hour.
Online, Anywhere in BC
Same clinicians, same approach, over a secure video platform. Good fit if you’re short on time, don’t want to factor in a commute, or simply feel more at ease starting from a familiar space. Fully covered under the same extended benefits as in-person sessions.
Many clients mix the two depending on the week. You’re not locked into one format when you book. The whole point is for therapy to work for you and that means being flexible. Sessions aren’t set in stone, change them as and when you need to best fit life.
What We Believe
We believe good counselling starts with feeling safe, understood, and comfortable enough to be honest about what's going on. You don't need to arrive with the right label or have everything figured out before you reach out.
We also believe the right fit matters. You choose the clinician you'd like to work with, use the free consultation to see how it feels, and decide together what comes next. Therapy should adapt to you, not the other way around, with the flexibility to change as your needs and circumstances do.

Choose the Clinician You'd Like to Work With
Browse our team page and pick who you’re drawn to: their focus areas, their approach, whatever feels right to you. There’s no assigning happening behind the scenes. You make the call.
Book a Free 20-Minute Consultation
This short call or session is a two-way check: you get a sense of how they work and ask any questions, and together you both assess whether it feels like a good fit.
Move Forward Together, or Get Redirected
If it feels right, you book your first full session and get started. If it doesn’t, your clinician will personally help connect you with another therapist on the Thrive team whose approach might land better for you. You don’t have to go find someone new on your own.
Settle Into a Rhythm
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly at first, then adjust the pace as things shift. In-person or online, the plan is built around what you’re working on, not a fixed program everyone goes through.
