About Thrive

My Approach

A seagull soars above a lighthouse on a rocky islet in the ocean, viewed from a distance at sunrise.

At Thrive, therapy is never one-size-fits-all.

I use an integrative approach, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities to tailor support to you—your goals, your needs, and your learning style. Whether you're navigating stress, self-doubt, life transitions, or past experiences, we’ll collaborate to find tools that feel relevant and effective for you.

Grounded in a trauma-informed lens, I incorporate techniques from:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Narrative Therapy

I'm also deeply committed to ongoing professional development so that I can continue growing—and offer the best care possible.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #23414) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), and I’m honoured to support clients who are ready to shift from stuck to thriving.

A Calm Place To Start

Sometimes the hardest part is simply walking through the door. That’s why your therapy space matters. At Thrive, I’ve created a setting that invites you to slow down — a space where you don’t have to perform, fix, or figure it all out right away. Whether you arrive feeling anxious, uncertain, or just tired of holding it all together, this space is here to hold you. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s honesty, connection, and the safety to explore what’s really going on.

The office is designed to feel calm, comfortable, and safe — a space where you can take a deep breath and just be yourself. With soft lighting, cozy seating, and thoughtful touches throughout, it’s a welcoming environment that supports the work we’ll do together.
